Grieg Seafood ASA is one of the world’s leading fish farming companies, specializing on salmon and trout. The total annual production capacity is approximately 80.000 tons gutted weight.
The business development in Grieg Seafood ASA shall be based on a profitable growth, sustainable use of nature and being a preferred supplier to selected customers.
The Group is today present in Norway, British Columbia (Canada) and in Shetland (UK), employing approximately 410 people. Grieg Seafood ASA was listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSEBX) in June 2007. The main office is located in Bergen, Norway.
Our four regions – covering three countries and two continents – are close to the biggest fresh food markets. As a result, our products only travel a short distance to major customers, giving better shelf life, taste and general quality. The local independence of our operations retains dedicated and experienced people in our employment, many with more than 30 years experience in the skills of aquaculture and salmon processing.
Our objectives in all Grieg Seafood’s four regions are:
- To produce salmon and trout products that are of high quality and taste, in full compliance with quality assurance schemes, all relevant legislation, industrial codes of practice and to any specific customer requirements
- To deliver on time and in accordance with agreement
- To carry out our production in a sustainable fashion and in full harmony with the environment in which we live
